This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies kironic.com uses. In short: we store your language preference when you choose one and, only if you accept them in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or social media cookies.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
nf_lang | First-party cookie, essential / preference | Remembers the language you chose in the language selector. It is set by this website and read by our server (hosted on Cloudflare) to show you that version when you visit kironic.com. | 1 year |
kironic-lang | Local storage | The same language preference, used by the home page. | Until you delete it |
kironic-consent | Local storage, essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | Until you delete it |
_ga, _ga_1BJS9R7ZM4 | Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies (Google Ireland Limited) | Distinguish visits pseudonymously and measure in aggregate which pages are visited. Only set if you click “Accept”. | Up to 2 years |
The language items are created only when you choose a language in the selector and contain no information that identifies you; since they are needed for a feature you request, they do not require consent. Analytics cookies do: until you click “Accept” in the cookie notice, the site does not load Google Analytics (we use Google Consent Mode with everything denied by default), and they are never used for advertising.
Change my cookie preferences: you can accept or withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw it, we delete this site's Google Analytics cookies. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Anonymous click count: we keep an aggregate count of how many times the buttons leading to the contact form are clicked and how many forms are submitted. It uses no cookies or browser storage and stores no personal data (no IP address or identifiers): only the type of button, the language, the page and the day.
3. How to delete them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or others), usually under privacy or site data. If you delete them, the site will still work, but it will pick the language based on your browser settings again.
4. Changes
If we add other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them. Learn more about how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.
